Tooth-colored Fillings
When decay has been taken out of your child's tooth, the tooth structure is replaced with a "filling" material. A tooth-colored filling is made from a composite resin that can be shaped and shaded to match your child's teeth perfectly. Tooth-colored fillings are virtually invisible! You may even elect to remove your child's existing silver fillings in favor of new, undetectable tooth-colored fillings.
Tooth Whitening
If your child's teeth are discolored or stained but structurally healthy, tooth whitening can brighten your child's precious smile. Dentist-supervised tooth whitening involves a specialized gel that is applied to your child's teeth using a customized tray, similar to a mouthpiece. After the appropriate amount of exposure time, the gel is rinsed away, revealing a brilliant smile. Ask Dr. Meek if tooth whitening is right for your child.
